Day 1: Australia to Delhi

The trip starts from the exuberant city of Delhi. Arrive at Delhi from the airlines of your choice; a day before the trip starts, and we will take it forward from there.

Day 2: Welcome to India

After the official welcome at the airport, you are free to spend the evening with your family and friends and explore Delhi at your pace. You may enjoy a rickshaw ride or wander around on foot. On return, you would be offered a complimentary Henna tattoo, which is a cultural tradition of India.

The night stay is at a hotel in Delhi.

Day 3: Explore Delhi

After breakfast, we proceed on a guided tour of Delhi. Visiting world heritage sites from the Mughal era like the Humayun’s Tomb, Qutub Minar, Red Fort and Jama Masjid to the Luyten’s architecture of Rajpath, India Gate, and Parliament House. We also touch the buzzing market of Chandni Chowk, which is an ideal destination for you to collect some indigenous souvenirs for friends back home.

Overnight stay is at a hotel in Delhi.

Day 4: Delhi to Taj Mahal

The next morning, we move from the imperial Delhi to the Mughal Agra, and this is the day to witness the epitome of love, the magnificent Taj Mahal. It took 22 years and 22,000 people to create the wonderful Taj Mahal. After the paying homage to the Taj, in the evening we will visit the Agra Fort, which was built by Emperor Akbar in circa 1565. Other historical monuments that we will cover are: Musamman Burj (famous for its positioning as the Taj Mahal is clearly visible from one side of the fort), Meena Bazar (housed in the Agra Fort was a place where the princess and queens used to hold a mock market exclusively for the emperor and noblemen), Jahangir Mahal, Diwan-i-Khas, Macchi Bhawan and Nagina Masjid.

Day 5: Agra to Jaipur

In the morning, we proceed towards Jaipur by road and on our way stop over at Fatehpur Sikri, which was once the Capital city of the Mughal Empire. Studded with beautiful monuments of the Mughal era, Fatehpur Sikri takes us down the memory lane and leaves a long lasting impression.

On reaching Jaipur, you would check in at a hotel and relax. Jaipur offers a lot of photo ops, so don’t give your cameras any rest and keep clicking. Enjoy the delectable Rajasthani cuisine for dinner and retire for a good night sleep.

Day 6: Explore Jaipur

After breakfast, a guided tour of Jaipur is in the offing. Jaipur has some of the most exquisite Forts. From the ever so romantic Amber Fort to the Hawa Mahal, known as the Palace of Wind having 953 niches and windows. We will spend our afternoon in Jantar Mantar, the grand observatory and finally set foot in the mighty City Palace, which spreads over one-seventh of the total area of the city.

Day 7: Jaipur to Delhi

We move back to Delhi, but you may opt for an optional detour to Ranthambore, Varanasi or Goa.

After reaching Delhi, you would check in at a hotel in Delhi.

Day 8: Depart Delhi

The tour culminates, so after breakfast a ride is arranged for you which will take you to the Airport. You may launch yourself into a shopping spree or move around for a final glimpse of India before your pick up.

Day 9: Arrive Australia

You reach home from a satisfied heart warming vacation. Cheers!
